The Mass Technology Leadership Awards continue an eight-year tradition, begun by the New England Business and Technology Association (NEBATA), of honoring the region's technology and business leaders. The Mass Technology Leadership Council was formed by the combination of NEBATA and the Mass Software Council earlier this year.
The 2005 Awards program began in the first quarter with an open nomination process. Thirty finalists were announced in May and final selections were based on nominee achievements, experiences and insights that were provided by the nominees through subsequent panels and interactions. Selections were made by a voting process among the Council's selection committee and key advisors.
"These Mass Technology Leadership Council Award honorees have established themselves as forces for change in the way business is conducted," said Mass Technology Leadership Council Vice President Tom Hopcroft. "These leaders have contributed winning ideas and best practices to the tech industry and our business community."
The Association will begin accepting nominations for the 2006 Mass Technology Leadership Council Awards in January 2006. Finalists will be named in June and winners announced in October 2006. For more information, visit www.masstechleaders.org.
