Mr. Stephen J. O'LearySenior Managing Director, Jefferies Broadview Stephen O’Leary is a Senior Managing Director of the Jefferies Broadview technology investment banking group. He is Co-Head of Technology Investment Banking and Head of the firm’s Boston office. With 22 years of experience in investment banking and venture capital, Mr. O’Leary has completed more than 100 M&A and capital markets transactions involving enterprise software, media and Internet companies. He brings a strong track record advising publicly-traded companies in a range of strategic alternatives including take-private transactions. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. O’Leary focused on emerging-growth technology software, communications and semiconductor businesses at BancBoston Ventures, where he worked for four years. Previously, he served in the U.S. Navy for five years onboard nuclear submarines as a qualified nuclear engineer. He holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School and a BS degree with distinction from the U.S. Naval Academy. |
