Mr. Paul D'Arcangelo
Vice President, Technical Operations/Engineering, Comcast
Paul D’Arcangelo serves as the Vice President for Comcast’s Greater Boston Region’s Technical Operations and Engineering team. In this role, he leads the team of engineers and technical staff responsible for building and maintaining the voice, video and data network that provides services to Greater Boston Region’s more than 1.8 million customers in three New England states.
Mr. D’Arcangelo has more than 25 years of experience in the cable industry, holding various management, technical operations and network construction positions with Comcast and its predecessor companies, including Continental Cablevision, MediaOne and AT&T Broadband.
Most recently, Mr. D’Arcangelo was the Vice President of the Metro Boston Region and the New England East Area. Prior to that role, he served as Vice President of Engineering and Technology for AT&T Broadband’s Northeast Region from 1999 to 2002. In that capacity, he managed the design and implementation of all engineering operations and product deployment initiatives.
Previously, Mr. D’Arcangelo held a variety of positions within MediaOne, including Project Coordinator, Construction Manager, Director of Construction and Director of Outside Plant. He joined Continental Cablevision in 1980 as a System Designer.
Throughout his career, Mr. D’Arcangelo has been instrumental in the region’s aggressive network modernization program, successfully leading the effort in two-way product deployment, which now includes the most highly concentrated market deployment of cable modems in the country.
Mr. D’Arcangelo earned a bachelor’s degree in Technical Communications from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, and resides in Woburn, Massachusetts with his wife and three daughters.
