With more than 400 mobile companies based here in Massachusetts, the Commonwealth has become one of the most vibrant wireless hubs in the world. The MassTLC mobile cluster is dedicated to the continuous improvement of this hub and is working to raise awareness of the region’s leadership, foster innovation and growth in the sector by creating opportunities for new companies, help existing companies expand, and attract global mobile players to Massachusetts.

Our programs and initiatives are aimed at the entire wireless food chain, from developers of early stage ideas to some of the largest players in the market and covers all sectors – app developers, carriers, handset manufacturers, infrastructure providers and users.

The Cluster’s priorities include:

•Leadership - Convene high-impact events and initiatives designed to bring the industry together and to help bolster our region’s leadership position.

•Investment Capital – Engage venture capitalists, angels, and other investors with our region’s entrepreneurs to ensure that we are investing in the great ideas being pursued in Massachusetts.

•Talent Pool – Connect industry and universities to make sure we have the highly trained workers necessary to fuel continued growth in mobile.

•Promotion - Vigorously promote Boston’s brand awareness as a hub of mobile innovation for the purpose of attracting companies, capital and talent to the region.
