MassTLC serves as the voice of the Massachusetts technology industry. We advocate for this growing and diverse community at the state and national levels, with the goal of making the region one of the best places for innovating and growing a business. Connecting tech leaders with policymakers and providing a collaborative platform for industry leaders to solve critical issues are essential to our work in advancing the region’s tech economy.
In addition to our advocacy and civic engagement work, MassTLC creates proprietary research on cutting-edge technology trends and sectors. This work recognizes areas where Massachusetts leads the industry in an effort to bring talent, companies and investment to the region. Past work in robotics, mobile and big data has helped accelerate the growth of those sectors. We are currently working on reports for the Internet of Things (IoT) and Consumer Tech sectors, both areas of tremendous growth in Massachusetts.
Our annual State of the Tech Economy report, which provides an overview of the major trends that are driving the local tech economy, benchmarks our progress vs. other regions as well as vs. our own history in areas such as diversity, economic impact, talent, and much more. This year’s report will be released in June.
