People, Teams and Culture: How to Create an Innovation Mindset in Services

with Susan Loconto Penta
Cofounder and Managing Partner - MIDIOR Consulting

How do you create and nurture an innovative mindset in organizations that provide services? Unlike Apple or Amazon, most companies don’t have unlimited resources to support their innovation programs. However, services companies, large and small, can learn the steps to create and nurture a culture of innovation that will deliver continued success during rapid growth cycles as well as more challenging times. Susan will address how products and services are different from the perspective of innovation, how and where to make investments to propagate an innovation culture and what team leaders can do to support their teams in the innovation process. Case examples will be drawn from a breadth of industries including financial services, software and others.

  • How to lead an innovation culture in services
  • Where the leverage points are to drive innovation
  • Where to look for innovation in a services environment
  • What the dynamics are of a successful services team
  • Examples of companies that apply the key principles of services innovation
