They say it takes money to make money in business. And the business of big data is no different. While it’s true that harnessing your big data can provide valuable insights and enable you to optimize your products and services growing your bottom line, it comes with significant capital investment. First what do you need to build your technology stack? How do you know which tools and platforms are right for you? What do you need from the cloud, security, apps? With so many options, how do you know what is the best fit for your company. And the other side of this coin is once you have the tools you need, how do you monetize your data?
