This session is for DevOps professionals of MassTLC member technology companies only.

DevOps Professionals Peer Group:

You've heard a lot about DevOps, but have you ever wondered which tools to use to deploy your systems? Join Karl Schwirz and Matt Parr from Slalom Consulting as they walk through a code pipeline deployment on AWS. In this MassTLC DevOps session, Matt and Karl will walk through a real-world application deployment using CloudFormation, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline and Chef.

Our facilitators:

Karl Schwirz – Karl is an Application Development Consultant on the Slalom Boston team. Karl is well versed on the .NET stack participating in all areas of the SDLC. His latest passions have brought him to efficient application delivery through Cloud and DevOps-based solutions.

Matt Parr - Matt has been working with Amazon Web Services products and services since 2008 and is known to say that he was "doing DevOps before it was DevOps".  Over the past seven years, he has been responsible for architecting, engineering, and delivering cloud-based infrastructure solutions varying in size and complexity.  A strong advocate for orchestration tools, automation, and the main principles of DevOps, Matt continually strives to close the gap between development and operations teams providing empowerment of others, repeatable processes, and efficiency.
