The New UK Immigration Act 2016
and Immigration Policy Invitation

The UK’s long commitment to the Rule of Law makes it an excellent location for your international growth, but also means that compliance with immigration policy is pivotal for your UK success.
The Immigration Act 2016 makes it an offence to employ illegal migrants, ensures that only people living lawfully in the UK have access to services such as UK bank accounts and makes it easier to remove those who do not have the right to be in the UK. The act increases employers’ obligations and the Home Office’s ability to penalise employers. Taylor Wessing LLP, UK Visas & Immigration and the UK Department for International Trade will explain what US headquartered companies need to consider and will outline the available support as companies grow and hire their UK team.
Topics to be discussed:
  • Sponsor licenses and Tier 2 visa options/conditions
  • Entry clearance / visa elements of current immigration policy
  • Tips on immigration compliance for all UK employers, including latest developments from the Immigration Act
  • Impact of EU Referendum and how to safeguard the status of EU citizen workers in the UK
  • UK Visas and Immigration services for business customers
