Our trustees have invented foundational apps that we now take for granted, created companies that are household names, dedicated themselves to using their technology to improve lives, trained business leaders, invested in the local economy, and much more.
Under Mohamad’s leadership, Carbonite’s global team is fully engaged in developing and delivering the next generation of data protection solutions. Driven by a passion for technology, Mohamad served as Chief Strategy Officer at Hewlett Packard where he played a pivotal role in the company’s turnaround. At IBM, Mohamad led the creation of the firm’s eight-billion-dollar business analytics software unit, and at Avaya, he oversaw the company’s two-billion-dollar services group. He was also the CEO of the Workforce Optimization division of Aspect Software. Mohamad holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering, a B.A. in History and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He serves on the boards of iRobot, Oxfam America and the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council.
