Mohamad AliCEO, Carbonite Under Mohamad’s leadership, Carbonite’s global team is fully engaged in developing and delivering the next generation of data protection solutions. Driven by a passion for technology, Mohamad served as Chief Strategy Officer at Hewlett Packard where he played a pivotal role in the company’s turnaround. At IBM, Mohamad led the creation of the firm’s eight-billion-dollar business analytics software unit, and at Avaya, he oversaw the company’s two-billion-dollar services group. He was also the CEO of the Workforce Optimization division of Aspect Software. Mohamad holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering, a B.A. in History and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
