ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR APRIL 2021

Applications are being accepted for the 2021 Bootcamps which will be held as a virtual program consisting of three sessions. There are two opportunities to participate in the bootcamp in 2021, as part of our Spring Cohort in April or as part of the Fall Cohort in October. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis in batches every two weeks or so and accepted applicants will be notified via email. Once accepted, applicants must register and pay to reserve their seat in the bootcamp. Space is limited.

We have combined the best elements of our inaugural 2019 bootcamps with valuable participant insights to create an immersive digital experience in 2020 that was, by many accounts, better than the in-person predecessors. The 2021 Agenda will be substantially similar to the 2020 schedule below. To get a sense of the program caliber, take a look at the 2020 faculty line-up below as well as that from our October 2019 and April 2019 bootcamps.

MEET THE BOOTCAMP FACULTY

The Board-Ready Bootcamp is presented by experienced industry and academic leaders with decades of combined board experience. During the bootcamp, participants learn about the responsibilities of being an effective board member, gain practical insights and develop their networks.

THE BOOTCAMP AGENDA

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board-Ready Bootcamp program was reimagined in 2020 as a virtual program consisting of three sessions, from 9:00am-1:00pm, conducted over three weeks. Participants must apply, be accepted, register and pay before attending the Bootcamp.

Like any board meeting, Bootcamp attendees will be expected arrive at the Bootcamp already familiar with the materials sent in advance. Rather than “presenting” this foundational information, the bootcamp will build upon this material and focus the live sessions on interactive discussions to illustrate key points and engage in attendee-directed dialogue.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

“I left on cloud 9! Spending a day with such an amazingly diverse group of peers and learning from the talented and accomplished speakers was awesome. Best professional development day I’ve ever had.”
– Tara Hendricks, VP of Finance & Operations, Talla Inc.

“I had no idea how much I didn’t already know about this field, despite it being so well aligned with my growth aspirations and abilities.  Now I’m on the path! I would highly recommend this program for my most talented peers in the technology community that have already found their entrepreneurial side, but are still craving more ways to grow and to give back.”
– Andre Black, Vice President of Products, Allego, Inc.

“The Board-Ready Bootcamp will help you to understand what is expected of a board member, to identify the value you would bring to a board, and insights on how to pursue a board appointment.”
– Meg Meaney, Vice President, Marketing Operations, Carbonite, Inc.
