MassTLC’s Board-Ready Bootcamp is designed to bring greater diversity to tech company boards of directors. In evaluating applications, MassTLC’s review committee will be guided by the following criteria:
1 – Applicant must be a current (or recent) senior executive at a technology company or tech division of a non-tech company;
2 – Applicant must be “sponsored” by, and have the support of, your CEO, board member or other executive sponsor;
3 – Applicant must be (or willing to be) a champion and advocate for increasing diversity on tech company boards, and be willing to participate fully to help MassTLC advance this important objective.
THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Participants must be current tech executives who’ve been nominated to attend the bootcamp and have the support of their company leadership.
1 – Complete application with information about you and your goals;
2 – Upload an endorsement letter from your executive sponsor (your CEO, board member or other executive sponsor);
3 – Accepted applicants must register and pay the admission fee* to hold a space in the bootcamp.
*Accepted participants for which the fee is a barrier to participating may request a scholarship to reduce the financial burden.
DEADLINES & ACCEPTANCE
In order to manage the volume of applications, MassTLC’s review committee has set three application deadlines. Applications received prior to each deadline will be reviewed by the committee and accepted candidates will be notified within 7-10 days thereafter.
– Friday, March 1, 2019
– Friday, March 15, 2019
– Friday, March 29, 2019
Once accepted, candidates must register and pay to confirm their participation in the bootcamp.
Please note: Once the April bootcamp reaches capacity, accepted candidates who have not completed their registration will be invited to join the waiting list and/or register for the October bootcamp.
Bootcamp admission is just $1500*. Companies with more than two executives participating can email Nayla Daly for group rates.
Bootcamp participation includes:
1 – Admission to the full-day bootcamp;
2 – Certificate of completion and social media badge;
3 – Access to Bootcamp LinkedIn Alumni Group;
4 – Consideration for Bootcamp related website editorial, press & speaking opportunities;
5 – Inclusion in MassTLC board referral program/database;
6 – Invitation to future Bootcamp Alumni Networking Events (generally following future bootcamps).
*We are working with our underwriters to provide scholarships to reduce financial barriers for those who could not otherwise participate. Financial need is not considered in the bootcamp acceptance process. Applicants will have an opportunity to request scholarship support after they have been accepted.
MassTLC is providing educational and community building services through the Board-Ready Bootcamp. Board recruitment is the sole responsibility of technology companies and their boards. MassTLC makes NO REPRESENTATION that participation in this program will result in being named to a board of directors.
