Boston has increasingly attracted international attention as a robotics hub for the last several years. It’s no surprise, then, that venture money has started follow. Recently, in recognition of the steady growth in funding, Built in Boston profiled a group of local robotics companies that, in their words, have “been getting quite a bit of love from local VCs.”
At MassTLC, we were excited to see that three of the four local companies highlighted- 6 River Systems, Humatics, and Locus Robotics – are MassTLC members.

As the Boston robotics scene continues to grow, it’s certainly worth keeping an eye on all four companies. It’s very possible that all, along with more robotics newcomers, may serve as major sources of talent and capital attraction for Massachusetts in the non-so-distant future.
