MassTLC member, Everbridge, is an underwriting sponsor of this year’s Boston TechJam (BTJ). We asked the Everbridge team to talk about what makes Boston special and why they’re lending their support to BTJ.

Old hands at BTJ
This is our third year at BTJ!
The theme of our booth is “Keeping People Safe.” We will be giving out travel size medical kits and emergency numbers for MA magnets, as well as having a photo booth with social sharing. We will have 75 people at BTJ.
Celebrating our Tech Heritage in MA
Boston TechJam celebrates and recognizes the rich, diverse and unique technology ecosystem and culture of the region, bringing together entrepreneurs, startups, established tech companies, venture capitalists, non-profit organizations, and higher learning institutions.
This event puts a spotlight on the technology heritage of Massachusetts like few other events, revealing why this region is an envy of both the country, as well as the world, for attracting innovative thinkers. We believe BTJ helps validate and showcase why so many tech businesses choose to call Massachusetts home.
MA is the Place to Grow a Company
There are so many reasons why Massachusetts is a great place to start and grow a company. First, Massachusetts is home to many of the world’s leading universities. In addition, from Boston to Cambridge to Rte 128 and along 495, the business community in Massachusetts is the Northeast epicenter of the IT and biotech industries. We have the brainpower, talent, investment power and infrastructure – from transportation and conference facilities to joint innovation centers – to fuel collaboration and hiring. Supported by associations like MassTLC, Massachusetts provides tremendous knowledge-sharing and peer-support opportunities for businesses to thrive.
