On March 28th, the U.S. House of Representatives voted 215-205 to overturn yet-to-take effect rules, passed at the end of the Obama administration, that required Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to obtain users’ permission before selling their data. This vote follows last week’s Senate vote of 50-48. The measure now awaits the President’s approval, which is expected.
