MassTLC is partnering with professional services agencies, firms, and companies in our new office hours. Each month on the second Wednesday, we will be joined by one of them to answer your questions and provide you with their expert advice.

2021 Outlook for Tax Policy and Planning:
The tax planning and policy outlook for the technology industry continues to shift underfoot as Democrats prepare for a massive tax and infrastructure bill. The prospect of major tax hikes threatens to flip normal tax planning on its head. We will be available to answer your questions on how the proposals could affect your business, how they may evolve throughout the legislative process, and what it means for your tax and business planning. The R&D credit is one of the most prevalent issues for taxpayers and the IRS. While the audit environment continues to evolve around this issue, exam is predisposed to disallowing R&D credit claims.
