Alpha Software launched the Alpha COVID-19 Risk Assessment App to the public this week, and it was featured in the Boston Globe. It is being used to triage patients on the front lines of the NYC pandemic and is now available for everyone to use to assess their risks for COVID-19.
Their hope is that by sharing the app publicly, they can help citizens self-assess symptoms and risks properly, conserving critical Massachusetts healthcare resources during the expected surges in mid-April.
The Alpha COVID-19 Risk Assessment App allows you to anonymously answer questions about your symptoms, existing medical conditions and risk factors to assess your risks for COVID-19 using up-to-date CDC guidelines. The app then suggests important next steps in your healthcare, based on your risk level.
