kununu’s founders, Martin and Mark Poreda, experienced what we call the dreaded “first-day surprise” themselves, and after only a couple of weeks at new jobs both brothers quit and set out to tackle the challenge of a non-transparent job market. They realized there needed to be a way for both job seekers and employers to ensure they were making the right decisions for their well-being and long-term success. That’s how kununu was born.

Since opening our Boston office in 2016, we’ve been on a mission to break down barriers in the US workplace by propelling meaningful conversations between employers and job seekers by:
