MassTLC Global Sponsor, Salesforce, hosted a Lunchspotting meet up in its Burlington, MA, facility. Lunchspotting is a series of lunchtime networking events from Matter Communications and MassTLC that is intended to bring the community into the many fascinating companies in the area. Attendees have the opportunity to meet executives and founders of these organizations, learn about the companies and their products, and connect with other professionals from different industries.
The Salesforce women’s ohana (their term for an employee resource group) hosted the event. Idit Vachtel Ami and Mia Stern, leaders of the ohana, invited Stefan Piesche, SVP of Engineering at Salesforce, to address the attendees. Stefan gave a brief overview of Salesforce and its culture, as well as the specific work of the commerce cloud group in Burlington. Other Salesforce executives – Phillip Jefferson, VP of Engineering, and Shawn Palaniappan, Senior Director of Performance Engineering – attended the event to meet and network with attendees.
The 50+ attendees enjoyed a wonderful lunch and lively conversation. Get a taste of the Lunchspotting experience in the video below:
