2020 has been an unusual and challenging year, but at MassTLC we have been heartened to see how our community members have stepped up to support their employees, their customers, their partners, other companies, and the broader community. We have been so impressed that we just couldn’t let the year end without recognizing the companies, individuals, and transformations that have made a positive impact during these trying times.
For that reason, we can barely wait for November 12th to come – that is when we will recognize the Tech Top 50. These companies, individuals, and innovations have stood out this year across 5 categories:
Business Accomplishment – This category recognizes companies for achieving major accomplishments in 2020. Examples include major business transactions (e.g., mergers or acquisitions), significant business performance or growth (e.g., increased revenue or headcount), or transformations (e.g., new business lines, company restructuring, etc.).
Company Culture – This category recognizes a company for their leadership in company culture through efforts toward employee satisfaction, physical/mental/emotional well-being of employees, and work-life balance.
Covid-19 Impact – This category recognizes the companies and individuals whose response to the COVID-19 pandemic has had a meaningful impact on the lives and livelihoods of others in our community. Examples include technologies or initiatives to help healthcare workers, companies, citizens.
Community Impact – This category recognizes the companies and individuals who have made a meaningful community impact in the areas of diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice. Examples include individual activism and organizational leadership in driving meaningful awareness, education, and change in our community.
Innovation – This category recognizes companies and individuals for innovation at the product, processes, company and sector level. Examples include innovative product solutions to meet the challenges of our times, business model innovations, and industry level transformation.
We will recognize these Top 50 stories through a digital experience in November and will highlight the honorees across media platforms including social, the MassTLC website, video, podcasts, and more.
