MassTLC Wins North American Innovation Award for Board-Ready Bootcamp

MassTLC’s Board-Ready Bootcamp received top honors at the Annual Innovation Awards of the Technology Councils of North America (TECNA), an organization of over 60 technology associations, representing over 22,000 tech companies across the U.S. and Canada.

The TECNA Innovation Awards program recognizes and honors tech council staff and team members who are integral to develop and implement innovative and impactful work on behalf of a tech association.

MassTLC took first place in the Talent Pipeline and Workforce Development category. Finalist organizations in this category included the Greater Nashville Technology Council, the Tech San Diego, and the Technology Association of Oregon.

As featured in the Boston GlobeBoard-Ready Bootcamp is designed to improve the quality of board governance and composition at tech companies by providing a high-impact curriculum on board fundamentals, strategy, and governance.

Given the lack of diversity in the tech boardroom, the bootcamp is focused on preparing underrepresented tech leaders, including Black, Latinx, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, and women tech executives.

Participants must be current tech executives who’ve been nominated to attend and have the support of their CEO or board of directors.
