MassTLC Women’s Initiatives

As part of our mission to build an inclusive tech ecosystem in the region, MassTLC offers a number of initiatives to bring women into tech careers and to support them once they are in the industry. Some of these initiatives are for MassTLC members only, but a number of them are available to non-members. We have also included a directory of external resources available to the broader community

  • Innovation Women speakers bureau: MassTLC pays for member company employees’ to create speaker profiles for this database ($100/year/profile). Contact ruth@masstlc.org for more information.

  • Company internal women’s group programming
  • Slack workspace dedicated to women’s group topics (MassTLC members only)

RESEARCH

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

  • Board Ready Bootcamp focused on preparing women and other underrepresented tech leaders for boardroom roles

 

TALENT PIPELINE

  • Technovation Challenge: building the tech industry talent pipelinve via an entrepreneurial coding competition for girls, aged 10-18
  • MassTalent: online resource directory of workforce training, placement, and funding programs for underrepresented and non-traditional populations.

EXTERNAL RESOURCES
