MIT Professional Education Boosts Portfolio With Three New AI Courses

MIT Professional Education added three new artificial intelligence (AI) courses to its robust technology training portfolio. The advanced offerings, which are being delivered virtually in 2021, focus on strategy development, smart algorithms and industry-specific applications.

“These additions reflect a global increase in demand for new, cutting-edge knowledge related to AI and data science. Organizations around the globe are looking to advance their competency in emerging technologies, build a ‘smarter’ workforce and leverage intelligent technologies in more targeted ways. These powerful new courses will provide the knowledge and the hands-on training needed to succeed in the rapidly changing world of goods and services,” said Malgorzata Hedderick, Director of Short and International Programs at MIT Professional Education.

The new 2021 AI courses include:

  • Advanced Reinforcement Learning –Explore the cutting-edge of reinforcement learning research, and enhance your ability to identify the correct approach for applying advanced frameworks to solve pressing industry challenges.

    June 28 – 30, 2021; Pulkit Agrawal & Cathy Wu

    June 17 – 18, 2021; Dr. Andrea Chegut

A third course titled, “AI Strategies and Roadmap: Systems Engineering Approach to AI Development and Deployment” launched in early March. The live virtual learning program attracted dozens of participants representing 14 different countries. Through a concerted effort to increase diversity and female participation, 31% of enrollees were women.
