Level and Northeastern University will be at Boston TechJam 2019, and you’re invited to join us as we jump into the fun and excitement with a VR experience and information about our data analytics programs.
What is Boston TechJam?
According to the Boston TechJam website, the event was founded in 2012 by members of the Mass Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC) to offer the state’s entire ecosystem of technology corporations, entrepreneurs, educators and incubators “a time when we all come together, from every corner of our innovation economy, to celebrate and accelerate our leading position.”
In short, TechJam is a great way to put your finger on the pulse of Massachusetts’ technology industry while having a ton of fun. Beyond the booths of companies and academic institutions like us, this year’s festivities include food trucks, Boston-based brews and even a battle of the bands.
What’s at the Level and Northeastern Booth?
Every attendee of Boston TechJam will get a bingo card with squares indicating the names of exhibitors. Marking up the card is as simple as visiting each exhibitor’s booth and completing whatever activity they have in store.
At the Level and Northeastern booth, we’ll have a number of virtual reality headsets that will let you take a tour of our campus right from the show floor!
Learn About Our Data Analytics Programs
In addition to our VR experience, we’ll also have information on Level and Northeastern’s data analytics programs at Boston TechJam.
Did you know, for example, that graduates of Level’s Intermediate Data Analytics program can transfer up to 12 credits toward Northeastern’s Master of Professional Studies in Analytics? Or that these 12 credits can be applied toward electives in many other Northeastern master’s degree programs?
In addition, students who complete Level’s intermediate program with an 88% or higher are exempt from taking the Information Analysis course in many MBA and MS programs offered by the D’Amore-McKim School of Business.
