Path to IPO: A Case Study in DocuSign

OPEXEngine recently released a new series called The Path to IPO. The goal of the research is to document the journey to the public markets and highlight the choices that company management made to maximize value and achieve the desired outcome. The in-depth series documents pre- and post-IPO KPIs for leading, newly public SaaS companies, and the first report is on DocuSign.

DocuSign’s IPO came 15 years after founding, and the company raised $500 million before going public. DocuSign’s journey to IPO may have taken longer than the average SaaS company, but the public markets have rewarded its patience with a market capitalization of over $30 billion (as of August 2020).
