Registration Open for New England Celebration of Women in Computing

Thinking of spring yet? We certainly are. It’s never too early to plan ahead, so make sure you save the date for this one:

The Second New England Celebration of Women in Computing (NECWiC) will be held on Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. This exciting event is jam packed with panels, technical sessions, hands-on training workshops, a career fair, and more – including distinguished keynotes from Nicole Immorlica of Microsoft Research New England Lab  and Jeannie Albrecht of Williams College.

The goal of the NECWIC is to encourage the participation of women in computing by providing a vehicle for students to explore opportunities in computing, to network with other women from academia, industry, and government, and to facilitate connections and friendships among women in the region who share the same passion for computing. Participants from all of these groups are welcome, as well as, all women and allies who recognize the importance of gender diversity in computing.

Students: come meet other people interested in computing, learn about career choices and graduate study, and attend a career fair.

Professionals: meet and mentor the next generation of computing professionals, network with other technology leaders, and share your experiences and strategies for success.

Registration for the weekend is now open here.
