Want to Support Girls in Tech? Become a Technovation Judge

Technovation is an international program that teaches mobile app development, entrepreneurship, and community engagement to middle and high school girls. MassTLC’s Education Foundation runs the Massachusetts and Rhode Island regional competition round, which culminates this year in a team showcase on May 11th at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Last year, over 300 girls participated in the competition, and over 150 attended the final showcase.

A key element of Technovation is the involvement of tech industry professionals throughout the program, including as judges. All judges review and score online the work of 3-5 Technovation Teams and then attend the TechnovationMA Showcase and Poster Presentations to meet the teams and finalize scoring. The region’s highest scorers may move on to the Regional and World Pitch phases of the Challenge.
