Welcome July New Members

Another month of 2020 has come and gone, and at MassTLC we are finding our flow and continuing to innovate and adapt however is needed to serve our community. We have a lot to celebrate.

In July, we launched a four-part behavioral health webinar series with MindWise Innovations to help tech leaders support the mental and emotional well-being of their workforce. Recordings of the first three sessions are available now, and you can sign up for the remaining one here.

Sara Fraim, MassTLC’s Director of Programs & Policy and Executive Director of the MassTLC Education Foundation, was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Technology Councils of North Americ (TECNA), and in other TECNA news, the organization recognized our Board-Ready Bootcamp as the winner of a 2020 Innovation Award. Board-Ready Bootcamp prepares underrepresented tech leaders to take a seat on tech company boards, something we believe is much needed given the lack of diversity in the typical tech boardroom. Still, there is more work to be done, and we invite all to learn more about the current state of diversity in our local tech sector (and sign our newly launched Tech Compact for Social Justice) here.

Plus, in July, five new members joined the MassTLC community. Welcome to FireEye, Kids in Tech, MentorWorks Education Capital, Sonatype, and Wingbrace – we are glad to have to you! Read more about each organization, below, and stay tuned for updates and even more new programming coming from MassTLC this August.
